Tran Minh Tien
Tran Minh Tien is an Associate Professor of soil science and Director General at the Soils and Fertilizers Research Institute (SFRI) where he has worked since 1996. His research focuses on soil fertility and plant nutrition.
Tran Thi Minh Thu
Tran Thi Minh Thu is a MSc of soil science. She has been working at SFRI since 2001. Her research is primarily concerned with soil fertility and thematic maps of soils. Currently she holds the position of Deputy Director of SFRI.
Do Duy Phai
Do Duy Phai, PhD in soil science. He has been working at the SFRI since 1997. Currently he holds the position of Head of Central Analytical Laboratory of SFRI and principal researcher. His research focuses on soil physics, chemical, environment, fertility and plant nutrition.
Nguyen Van Hien
Nguyen Van Hien is a researcher at the Department of Microbiology of SFRI. His researches focus on sustainable management of soil and nutrients in current climate change for sustainable agriculture and carbon sequestration. He holds a PhD in environmental science from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Nguyen Xuan Vi
Nguyen Xuan Vi is a MSc of soil science. He worked at the Field Crops Research Institute (FCRI) from 2004 to 2020. He has been working at the SFRI since 2021. His research is primarily concerned with rice physiology (drought and salt tolerant; waterlogged soils) and fertilizing techniques for rice. At present, his main work is analyzing chemical compounds in soil and plants.
Mai Thi Ha
Mai Thi Ha is a researcher at SFRI, where she has been working since 2009. She graduated from Vietnam National University of Agriculture with a major in crop science.
Dang Thi Thanh Hao
Dang Thi Thanh Hao is a junior researcher at SFRI. She started working at SFRI in 2018. She graduated from Hanoi University of Natural Resources & Environment with a major in land management.
Institute of Agricultural Environment
Tran Van The
Tran Van The is a Senior Researcher and Vice-Director at the Institute of Agricultural Environment. His background is in agricultural economics. He obtained a BSc at Hanoi Agricultural University No 1, MSc at University of the Philippines Los Banos and PhD at Vietnam National University of Agriculture. He is an expert in agricultural economics and policy, natural resources economics, cost-benefit analysis, environmental impact analysis and climate change.
Bui Thi Phuong Loan
Bui Thi Phuong Loan has a PhD in soil science. She is Head of the Department of Environmental Modelling and Databases at the Institute of Agricultural Environment. She has 25 years of experience in agriculture, soil science, climate change, modeling, and databases. Her research interests include: (i) Climate-change induced issues in agriculture, developing mitigation options for agriculture, monitoring spread of environmental pollution and developing sustainable environmental management measures in agriculture, forestry and rural areas; (ii) Monitoring/measurement, reporting and verification; and (iii) Developing programs and projects for research and technological transfer in agriculture and consultations in agricultural and rural environments.
